The MEDICARE BASICS

What Is Medicare?

It takes a great deal of hard work to get to those golden retirement years. So when it comes to Medicare, let us do the hard work for you. Let’s start with some of the Medicare basics.

Medicare is the federal health insurance program for those who meet certain eligibility requirements — such as being 65 years old or above. There are many different Medicare Insurance plans available to seniors, retirees and more. It’s important to be ready for Enrollment and understand how your conditions and care will be covered under Medicare Supplement and Prescription Drug plans. In addition, Medicare options can vary from state to state, which makes working with a local Medicare expert so important.

What Is Medicare Supplement?

While Medicare often covers a wide range of healthcare services, beneficiaries may still be responsible for some care. Medicare Supplement acts as a “gap” insurance to help cover out-of-pocket costs.
